Peters, Jr. —Sr. Director- Environmental, Health & Safety <br /> 4.16.3.2 IDEAS shall place the Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents in a <br /> designated file at the Location. <br /> 4.16.3.3 After 30 days DEAs shall retrieve the final signed Uniform Hazardous <br /> Waste Manifest from the Approved Hazardous Waste Transporter's <br /> website and shall print and file it with the initial (original) copy of the <br /> Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. Refer to Jurisdictional-Specific <br /> Requirements for Hazardous Waste Management in Appendix D of this <br /> Standard. <br /> 4.16.3.4 If the final signed Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest does not appear on <br /> the Approved Hazardous Waste Transporter's website after 35 days, the <br /> DEA shall contact the Enterprise EHS department for assistance. <br /> 4.16.3.5 Enterprise EHS department shall file any required exception reports for <br /> missing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests. <br /> 4.16.3.6 Hazardous Waste Shipping Documents shall be retained in a file at the <br /> Location for a period not less than three (3) years from the time of the <br /> Hazardous Waste pick-up. <br /> 4.17 Recycling <br /> 4.17.1 All Locations shall participate in mandatory recycling programs as determined by <br /> local rules, regulations, and ordinances. <br /> 4.17.2 No local recycling companies shall be engaged to dispose of Hazardous Materials <br /> without benefit of an HD Supply contract that has been approved by the Enterprise <br /> EHS and Legal teams. <br /> 4.17.3 Location Managers and IDEAS shall partner with the EHS Team to review options for <br /> Hazardous Waste minimization where required. <br /> 4.17.4 California Locations shall recycle empty containers that are larger than five (5) <br /> gallons. Such containers shall be reclaimed for scrap, reconditioned, or <br /> remanufactured. Containers shall be completely empty as defined by California <br /> regulations and contain no liquids or residues which otherwise could be poured, <br /> emptied, or scraped out by all practical means. <br /> 4.17.5 All Locations shall participate in a battery recycling program for all rechargeable <br /> batteries. <br /> 4.18 California Waste Tire Program (CalRecycle) <br /> 4.18.1 All California Locations shall apply for a CalRecycle Tire Program Identification <br /> Number(TPID) at the time the Location is set up to be operational. <br /> 4.18.2 Certificates issued by CalRecycle with the Location's TPID shall be posted near the <br /> Location's business license. <br /> Any printed copy of this document is an uncontrolled document.
