v 11 Resurrection Carpet Cleaning & Janitorial Services Agreement Number DVI08009 CDCR Scope of Work Exhibit A H. Restrooms/Break rooms: • Flush and check all toilets for proper operation. Any malfunction shall be immediately reported to the Contract Liaison. • Clean and maintain in an aesthetic, sanitary and odor -free condition all floors, mirrors, sinks and disinfect all toilet bowls and urinals. • Replace tissue, towels, seat covers and other supplies as needed. • Clean build up and fill soap dispensers. • Clean floors with germicidal solution. • Clean and polish all dispensers and metals. • Clean all drain traps. Pour deodorizing solution down drains each service day. • Damp mop floors with a disinfectant or germicidal solution. Floors shall be maintained in a clean state, free of build-up, dirt and black markings. Office and Corridors: • Empty and clean all trash containers and dispose of all trash. Reline trash containers with liners. • Sweep or dust mop all hard surface floors. Vacuum all carpeted areas. All vacuum cleaners must be equipped with a "Hepa" filter. • Remove spots and / or spills from the carpets, rugs, and floors. • Spot clean walls, partitions, doors, door frames and light fixtures. • Remove finger marks and smudges from all glass entrance doors. 5. Cleaning Schedule The Contractor will provide a schedule of areas to be cleaned to the Agreement Liaison weekly. This schedule will include the area, date of service to area, time and what services will be provided. 6. Training All appropriate training of employees such as; use of equipment, Hazardous Waste Handling/Disposal, Infectious Control, Blood Bourne Pathogens and any related items shall be provided by the Contractor. (Note this only applies to Correctional Treatment Centers (CTC); the Contractor will need to have documentation reflecting training and have a representative participate on the CTC's Infection Control Committee, 7. Call Back Services Should the Contractor fail to provide any of the specified services in the prescribed manner, the State may call the Contractor to provide services within four hours, unless otherwise specified, at no additional cost to the State. 8. Emergency Services The Contractor shall make emergency calls during non -business hours, if necessary. If the need for repair was created by the State, the State agrees to reimburse the Contractor for each emergency call at the rate specified in the Contractor's Bid Proposal.
