v <br />15.7. Back -Up Electrical Power <br />General: Sodexo Laundry Stockton has two (2) separate processing plants, each of <br />which has its own separate electrical system. Sodexo Laundry Stockton is considered <br />a "power sensitive" customer by Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E). <br />Notify PG&E of a power failure. PG&E will immediately notify the Eden - <br />Vale Service Center. PG&E immediately dispatches service personnel and <br />equipment to Sodexo Laundry Stockton. <br />Notify the unaffected plant to prepare for transfer of linen. <br />Notify individual facilities if delays in delivery are anticipated. <br />15.8. System Failures <br />General: Electrical monitors are designed into all systems to automatically shut off <br />the supply of all chemicals or water to prevent spill -overs or unwanted draws of <br />liquid. There is 24 hour supervision of all machinery by fully trained operators and <br />supervisors. All electric monitors are equipped with audible signals in case of <br />malfunction. <br />15.9. Laundry Detergents/Chemicals (See attached Material <br />Safety Data Sheets) <br />General: Re -use water is used exclusively in the initial fill and flush of the CBW's <br />and conventional washers. Sodexo Laundry Stockton's water reclamation system is <br />in compliance with all regulatory requirements and the program has been fully <br />approved. <br />Strict quality control is maintained by operator monitoring of the water flow into the <br />DAF tank. A balanced chemical injection of a cationic demulsifier and an anionic <br />flocculent to treat a set rate of water is maintained. There is 24 hour monitoring of <br />the UV system to insure a bacterial kill. <br />Bacteriological testing of all Sodexo Laundry Stockton linen is conducted on a <br />monthly basis by Analytical Services, Inc., 110 Technology Parkway, Norcross, GA <br />30092. Copies of reports are sent to all facilities quarterly. <br />12.09 -39- <br />
