Field Operations Policy and Procedures me, <br />personal effects confirms and transfers the inventory on the Personal Effects Inventory <br />Form (FIN-CS006) with another Company representative. <br />6. If the inventory is correct, the transferring Company representative completes the <br />Acknowledgement of Transfer from Location section on the Personal Effects Inventory <br />Form (FIN-CS006) and signs the Transferred From line and the receiving Company <br />representative signs the Personal Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006) Transferred To <br />line. <br />7. Follow the disposition instructions (i.e. bury, destroy, return to family) as listed on the <br />Personal Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006). <br />Handling personal effects during preparation and mortuary services: <br />1. Remove clothing items from the decedent prior to embalming and/or minimal prep, and <br />place them in a red biohazard bag. Label the bag with the decedent's full legal name <br />(LAST, First Middle) date of birth, date of death, funeral home name and number, and <br />case ID number (if applicable). <br />2. Follow the disposition instructions (i.e. bury, destroy, return to family) as listed on the <br />Personal Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006). <br />3. If undocumented items are found prior to dressing and/or containerizing for services, stop <br />the process, notify the funeral home and have them contact the family for instructions on <br />the disposition of those items. <br />4. Ensure all items to be transported are present by verifying them against the Personal <br />Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006) (see Transporting �personal effects from one <br />location to another above). <br />Handling personal effects during funeral services: <br />1. Prior to scheduled services, ensure all items are on or with the decedent by verifying <br />them against the Personal Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006). <br />2. If items are placed inside the casket by the family (and are not inventoried), document the <br />items on a new Personal Effects Inventory Form (FIN-CS006) as soon as possible after <br />discovery but without interfering with any service. <br />Handling personal effects prior to cremation: <br />1.
