LANDFILL AND SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT CLOSURE <br /> Landfill and surface impoundment closure must be <br /> carried out according to the guidelines in the <br /> California Code of Regulations Title 23, Chapter 3, <br /> Subchapter 15, unless it can be shown that the wastes <br /> at this facility are not a threat to water quality. <br /> Closure is briefly described in sections 2580 through <br /> 2582 of Subchapter 15. Copies are enclosed for your <br /> information along with information on how to order a <br /> complete copy of Subchapter 15. Waste discharge <br /> requirements must be issued to regulate closure and <br /> post-closure monitoring. <br /> We are available to meet with you and your consultant to discuss <br /> the requirements of the Regional Board.
