BUR <br /> Forward is currently installing a new landfill gas extraction system at the Austin Road/Forward <br /> Landfill to work in conjunction with the current gas extraction system at the Austin Road Landfill. <br /> According to the current gas extraction facility operator (Mr. Dennis Young), the current Austin <br /> Road gas extraction system has been shut off for periods of up to one month during the last six <br /> months to allow for the relocation of Littlejohn Creek, to allow for resumed landfill operations at <br /> Austin Road, and the ongoing installation activities associated with the new landfill gas extraction <br /> system at the site. <br /> Based on the soil gas monitoring data, Forward proposes continuing with the routine monitoring <br /> activities on a quarterly basis and re-evaluating the locations of the current soil gas monitoring <br /> network once the landfill gas extraction system installation and the Littlejohn Creek relocation <br /> projects have been completed. According to Forward personnel, soil gas monitoring will be <br /> conducted again during the first quarter of 2003.
