An Sec. 3.5, Page 3-5 <br /> amendment will be filed at the time of final design of each <br /> phase; this amendment will describe sampling procedures and <br /> chemical parameters to be tested for. <br /> VI.A.2.c. Reporting 14 CCR 17781(d)(6) An amendment will be filed at the time of final design of each <br /> phase; this amendment will describe reporting requirements. <br /> VI.A.3. Groundwater Monitoring <br /> VI.A.3.a. Monitoring System 14 CCR 18222(1) There are currently 11 monitoring wells down gradient and Appendix B, <br /> 23 CCR 2550.7 three monitoring wells upgradient of the existing landfill. CEP Dwg. P1 <br /> Information on the existing monitoring system is included in Appendix 1, FDSR <br /> Appendix K (WDR) and Appendix N (Existing Groundwater Sec. 3.1, Pages 3-1 <br /> Monitoring System). New monitoring wells for the expansion to 3-2 <br /> will be added as indicated on Drawing P1. An amendment will Appendix K <br /> be filed at the time of final design for each phase; this Appendix N <br /> amendment will address the specific locations, depths, <br /> materials, construction requirements, well logs, and certify that <br /> a registered civil engineer or geologist was responsible for the <br /> design. Monitoring system will be in accordance with the <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements for the landfill expansion. <br /> VI.A.3.b. Sampling and Analytic 23 CCR 2550.7(e)(4) A general discussion of parameter/constituent sampling and Appendix 1, FDSR <br /> Procedures 23 CCR 2550.7(e)(5) reporting frequency requirements is provided in the FDSR. Sec. 3.1, Pages 3-1 <br /> 23 CCR 2550.7(e)(1 2)(B) The existing analytic procedures are in Appendix O. An to 3-2 <br /> 23 CCR 2550.7(e)(13) amendment will be filed at the time of final design of each Appendix O <br /> phase; this amendment will describe specific procedures <br /> methods, and frequencies as well as parameters to be <br /> sampled. Sampling and Analytic procedures will be in <br /> accordance with the Waste Discharge Requirements for the <br /> landfill expansion. <br /> VI.B. GAS CONTROL AND MONITORING <br /> 14 CCR 17705 Discussions with personnel from the CIWMB, the LEA, and Appendix I, FDSR <br /> 14 CCR 18222(m) the City have indicated that gas migration has not been a Sec. 1.7, Pages 1-28 <br /> problem at the landfill. Combustible Gas Indicator readings to 1-29 <br /> taken by personnel from the CIWMB have shown that there <br /> have been no compliance problems at the boundary for the Appendix Q <br /> last few years. Gas monitoring reports are in Appendix Q. <br />
