2. Sanitary facilities include enclosed chemical toilets and washing facilities. <br /> These facilities shall meet the requirements of local public health standards. <br /> Open pit or trench latrines will not be permitted. <br /> 3. Sanitary facilities shall be located as approved by the OWNER and shall be <br /> maintained in a sanitary condition during the entire course of the Work. <br /> B. Electric Power: <br /> 1. Electric power is not available at the site. CONTRACTOR must supply his <br /> own power. <br /> C. Water: <br /> 1. The CONTRACTOR must provide his own potable water at the site. <br /> Construction water will be provided by OWNER at the main water well <br /> located next to the landfill scales. <br /> D. Telephone: <br /> 1. The CONTRACTOR shall provide his own telephone service. <br /> 1.4 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES <br /> A. Lands furnished by OWNER upon which CONTRACTOR shall perform the <br /> Work are as shown on Construction Drawings. <br /> B. Rights-of-way and easements for access to such lands furnished by OWNER are <br /> as shown on Construction Drawings. <br /> C. Encumbrances or restrictions specifically related to the use of OWNER-furnished <br /> lands are as shown on Construction Drawings. <br /> 1.5 PROTECTION OF WORK AND PROPERTY <br /> A. Comply with OWNER's safety rules while on OWNER's property. <br /> B. Keep OWNER informed of serious accidents on the site and related claims. <br /> C. Use of Explosives: No blasting or use of explosives will be allowed on the site. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS (Not Used) <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION <br /> A. Fencing and Barricades: <br /> 1. Security Fence: <br /> a. CONTRACTOR shall provide required security fencing for the <br /> CONTRACTOR's materials and equipment. Use of the OWNER's <br /> fenced area shall be at the CONTRACTOR's own risk, and the <br /> OWNER shall not be held liable for any damage to or loss of <br /> materials or equipment located within the fenced area. <br /> CONTRACTOR shall arrange with the OWNER for the locking <br /> Forward Landfill WMU FU-04 TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> 01500 2 AND CONTROLS <br />
