Readings of pH, specific conductance, turbidity, DO, oxidation / reduction <br /> potential (ORP), and temperature taken before, during, and after <br /> development. <br /> 11. Other information as requested by the Engineer. <br /> PART 4 PUMP INSTALLATION <br /> A. Contractor shall install the dedicated well pump in each groundwater monitoring <br /> well in accordance the manufacture's specification in the presence of the <br /> Engineer. Contractor shall tie the lead wire, safety cable and discharge tubing to <br /> the casing every five (5) feet with zip ties or as approved by the Engineer. <br /> Contractor shall install the well cap and hang the pump in the well casing at the <br /> appropriate depth as determined by the Engineer. <br /> PART 5 ACCEPTANCE <br /> A. County will accept wells installed in accordance to the specifications. County will <br /> not accept a well installed without ED inspection. Contractor will be responsible <br /> for damages caused to the well casing due to gross negligence during drilling and <br /> well installation. Contractor shall not drop any tools or bailers in the well casing.. <br /> B. If the County disapproves a well, then the Contractor shall: <br /> 1. Repair defective components of the well. If defective components are not <br /> repairable, then the Contractor shall abandon that well and install a new <br /> well, or re-drill the well found to be unacceptable, at no additional cost to <br /> the County. <br /> PART 6 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> 6.01 GENERAL <br /> A. Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, tools, equipment <br /> overhead for each task or line item listed in the bid sheet. <br /> B. Partial payment will not be made for each project. <br /> C.
