M. Hu and <br />Weather: Clear Wind: 0-10 mph. <br />Tem erature: A22rox. range 70- 100 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm. <br />Excavation: No activity observed. <br />Foundation Layer: Up to (4) laborers used hand tools to rework floor and sump subgrade for geosynthetic materials. The <br />slope was previously smooth drum rolled and the handwork today was to address deficient areas. The sump area and the <br />floor were watered, raked and re- rolled using (1) CAT 54B smooth drum roller. <br />Access Road: No activity. <br />Sump Riser Construction: The sump area was reworked extensively, as materials had dried out from weather and <br />associated construction. The sump construction is suspended until liner details are clarified per an RFI #3 <br />North West Stockpile: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 2 (Operations): No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 3: No activity was observed. <br />Geosynthetic Liner: Geosynthetics detailing and deployment continued on the floor. QA activities included monitoring of <br />placement, trial welds, seaming and collection of destructive seam samples. A cumulative quantity of approximately <br />568,000 SF of GCL and geomembrane has been deployed. <br />Operations Layer Processing. No activity observed today. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (1) CAT 627 scraper, (1) 14H motorgrader, (1) water truck, (1) Hitachi 300 <br />excavator, (1) CAT CS 54B smooth drum roller (vibratory type), (1) CAT TH160B folk lift, (1) CAT 430D backhoe.
