Hu and <br />Weather: Clear Wind: 0-10 mph. <br />Tem erature: A rox. range 70- 95 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 5:30 am to 4:30 pm. <br />Excavation: No activity observed. <br />LCRS Piping: Up to (3) laborers assisted in the welding of the 6" LCRS piping adjacent to the liner on the floor, assisted by (1) <br />CAT 436 backhoe and (1) forklift. <br />Access Road: No activity. <br />Sump Riser Construction: No activity observed today. <br />North West Stockpile: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 2 (Operations: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 3: No activity was observed. <br />Geosynthetic Liner: Geosynthetics detailing and deployment continued on the East slope, and began in the sump area. QA <br />activities included monitoring of placement, trial welds, seaming and collection of destructive seam samples. A <br />cumulative quantity of approximately 629,000 SF of GCL and geomembrane has been deployed. The contractor has received a <br />response to 11171 03, which changes the configuration of the welding of secondary layers in the sump area. The Contractor is <br />welding the lower sump area geomembrane to the primary liner on adjacent floor and slopes per 11171 03. <br />Operations Layer Processing: No activity was observed. <br />Basin 1: (1) CAT D6 dozer graded basin 1. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (1) CAT 627 scraper, (1) 14H motorgrader, (1) water truck, (1) Hitachi 300 <br />excavator, (1) CAT CS 54B smooth drum roller (vibratory type), (1) CAT TH160B folk lift, (1) CAT 430D backhoe.
