Hu and <br />Weather: Clear Wind: 0-10 mph. <br />Temperature: Approx. range 70- 90 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm. <br />Excavation: No activity observed. <br />Access Road: No activity observed. <br />Sump LCRS Riser Construction: No activity observed today. <br />North West Stockpile: No activity was observed. <br />South Stockpile 2 (Operations): (1) Hundai 480LC excavator was moved to the stockpile in preparation for the screening <br />operation. <br />South Stockpile 3: No activity was observed. <br />Geosynthetic Liner: Geosynthetics detailing and deployment continued in the sump area. QA activities included <br />monitoring of placement, trial welds, seaming and collection of destructive seam samples. The contractor <br />proceeded with the installation of the primary liner across the sump as described in RFI 3, and stayed late after <br />the regular shift to finish the construction of the upper (primary) liner. The geosynthetic liner deployment eas <br />essentially complete with the exception of the upper (primary) geomembrane and GCL limited to the cap across <br />the secondary LCRS riser trench up the east slop and Geocomposite to be placed after the Leak Detection Test. <br />Operations Layer Processing: (1) Hundai 480LC excavator was delivered to the site as well as (1) Power screen. <br />Basin 1: No activity observed. <br />LCRS HDPE Pipe Construction: Two laborers continued welding 6" HDPE pipe. I have asked the foreman to provide a <br />description on how he intends to move the long sections to their final locations. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (1) CAT 627 scraper, (1) 14H motorgrader, (1) water truck, (1) Hitachi 300 <br />excavator, (1) CAT CS 54B smooth drum roller (vibratory type), (1) CAT TH160B folk lift, (1) CAT 430D backhoe.
