Hu and <br />Weather: Clear - Wind: 0-10m h. <br />Temperature: Approx. range 65- 80 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. <br />Sacrificial Geomembrane: Great Basin continued to fill sandbags and to place them on the slope per plan, they now have <br />rope and began to spread them on a 10 foot grid per plan. <br />Operations Layer Placement: Completed on the floor. The tie in bench remains to be done. Today up to 5 laborers and one <br />JD 410 backhoe continued to excavate holes in the Operations Layer for the point over point survey in the GDM One foot of <br />material was excavated by the backhoe at designated locations, then laborers excavated the lower portion by hand. F3 Survey <br />company was onsite for survey today. <br />Force Main: No activity today. <br />Anchor Trench: (1) Hitachi 300 excavator and up to 5 laborers placed fill in the anchor trench on the East slope termination <br />today, using 2 whackers and a water truck for support equipment <br />Termination Berm Construction: Construction on the western and southern termination berm continued today. (2) CAT <br />745 articulating end dumps hauled materials from Stockpile 3 for 4 hours and then were stopped by the Contractor. (1) <br />Hundai 480 excavator loaded the trucks at the stockpile. (1) CAT D6 dozer mixed fill and spread the materials in 8" lifts prior <br />to compaction using (1) CAT CP54 self propelled compactor. <br />Drainage Structures: (1) Hitachi 480 excavator began cutting the drainage channel at the northwest corner, working <br />southward. (1) CAT 14 H motorgrader assisted in the activities. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (2) water trucks, (1) Hitachi 300 excavator, (1) CAT TH160B folk lift, (1) JD <br />410K Backhoe. (1) CAT 623 paddlewheel scraper.
