DAILY FIELD REPORT Page 1 of 1 <br />Project Name: Foothill Sanitary Landfill - Area 2A Report Number: 093 <br />Project Number: 14-101-01 Date: Friday 09/18/15 <br />Owner: Dept. of Public Works, San Joaquin County CQA Monitors: <br />Contractor: R J Gordon Construction, Inc. M. Hu and <br />Weather: Clear - Wind: 0-10m h. <br />Temperature: A rox. range 65- 95 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. <br />Sacrificial Geomembrane: Great Basin continued to fill sandbags and to place them on the slope per plan. Sandbags were <br />placed them on a 10 foot grid. Sand bags were being tied in the pm. <br />Operations Layer Placement: No activity observed today. <br />Force Main: No activity observed today. <br />Anchor Trench: (1) Hitachi 300 excavator and up to 5 laborers placed fill in the western slope anchor trench today, using 1 <br />whacker and a water truck for support equipment. Anchor trench testing indicated adequate compaction. <br />Termination Berm Construction: Construction on the western and southern termination berm continued today. Material <br />came from the adjacent drainage channel excavation. (1) CAT D6 dozer mixed fill and spread the materials in 8" lifts prior to <br />compaction using (1) CAT CP 54 self propelled compactor. <br />Electrical Panel Placement: The electrical contractor was here and set the panel in the new location adjacent to the 24" <br />sump risers, as discussed in recent field meetings with the County. <br />Sump Riser Pipes: The Lysimeter pipe and the instrumentation pipe were trimmed and had blind flanges installed, using <br />electro -fusion couplings. <br />Drainage Structures: (1) Hitachi 480 excavator continued cutting the trapezoidal channel at the western edge of the floor, <br />working southward. Excavated materials were placed as fill in the adjacent berm. (1) CAT 14 H assisted in the activities. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (2) water trucks, (1) Hitachi 300 excavator, (1) CAT TH160B folk lift, (1) JD 410K <br />Backhoe. (1) CAT 623 paddlewheel scraper. (1) Power Screen, (1) Belt Stacker, (1) Hyundai 480LC excavator, (1) CAT D6T <br />dozer, (2) Cat 745 Dump Truck, (1) Cat 950 M Loader, (1) CAT D4 Dozer, (1) CAT 14MH Motor Grader, (1) CAT CP54 <br />compactor <br />Problems/Resolutions <br />Visitors: <br />Reviewed By: M.
