DAILY FIELD REPORT Page 1 of 1 <br />Project Name: Foothill Sanitary Landfill - Area 2A Report Number: 101 <br />Project Number: 14-101-01 Date: Wednesday 09/30/15 <br />Owner: Dept. of Public Works, San Joaquin County CQA Monitors: <br />Contractor: R I Gordon Construction, Inc. M. Hu and <br />Weather: Partly overcast/ Light rain pm Wind: 0-10m h. <br />Tem erature: Approx. range 60- 75 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from lam to 5:30 pm. <br />Electrical Panel Placement: Electricians continued with conduit and wiring on the Sump Pump Control panel. <br />Drainage Structures: (1) CAT D6 dozer, (1) CAT D4 dozer and (1) CAT CP45 compactor backfilled the pipe above the access <br />ramp culvert with earthfill material. The compaction test failed on 2 occasions before achieving 95% compaction. <br />Access Road: (1) CAT 14H motorgrader graded the road. Two density tests of the earthfill were performed and the results <br />indicated the earthfill met the specified 95% relative compaction. <br />LCRS System: The pump was wired and placed in the primary riser. Forced Main panel and pipe was hydrostatically <br />pressure tested for 1 hr at 125 PSI with no drop in pressure. <br />RIP RAP (1) Hundai excavator and (1) CAT 745 truck began preparation of subgrade for rip rap areas at the culvert crossing <br />and in Basin 2 area. <br />Earth Berm: The berm on the east slope was built and tamped in place using (1) Hitachi excavator and (1) CAT 745 truck. <br />Sacrificial Membrane: A sand bag anchor line was installed at the NW limits of Sacrificial Membrane by Great Basin <br />Punch List: The contractor has begun on the punch list items. Some of the activities on the list are ongoing. Major items <br />completed today include: <br />a 1 Laborer walked the area above the operations layer on the tie in and on the leading edge of the operations layer on <br />the north slope and removed any oversize material. <br />o The Forced Main was pressure tested. <br />a The Pump was installed in the LCRS Riser. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (2) water trucks, (1) Hitachi 300 excavator, (1) JD 410 Backhoe. (1) CAT 623 <br />paddlewheel scraper. (1) Hyundai 480LC excavator, (1) CAT D6T dozer, (2) Cat 745 Dump Truck, (1) Cat 950 M Loader, (1) <br />CAT D4 Dozer, (1) CAT 14MH Motor Grader, (1) CAT CP54 compactor.
