Hu and <br />Weather: Light rain overnight / partly cloudy Wind: 0-10m h. <br />Temperature: Approx. range 60- 70 F Other: <br />The contractor worked from lam to 5:30 pm. <br />Electrical Panel Placement: Electricians continued with conduit and wiring on the Sump Pump Control panel <br />Drainage Structures: (1) CAT D4 dozer and (1) Hyundai 480 excavator continued excavation in the drainage channel and <br />down chute into Basin 2, including excavating Rip Rap subgrade. The subgrade is consolidated sand, but during excavation <br />the sand breaks up into a clean sand with no cohesion and the Contractor had difficulty obtaining the channel shape. (1) CAT <br />613 scraper, (1) Cat D6 dozer (1) CAT CP54 compactor placed the berms on the road of the East slope per Section 35 on Sheet <br />C11. (1) Hundai 480 excavator also excavated the profile for Rip Rap down chute into Basin 1. <br />Access Road: No activity. I mentioned to Joyesh that the contractor does not have a smooth drum roller to put a smooth <br />surface on the road as required by the Specifications. The Contractor will need to roll the surface before placing the geotextile <br />and aggregate base. l spoke to Nick of RJ Gordon and mentioned that the soil forming the V ditch beside the road is loose and <br />should be compacted. <br />RIP RAP: Material was delivered today and staged through out the site. I mentioned to Nick that the excavations should be <br />cleaned of loose material prior to placement. <br />Forced Main: The contractor used (1) JD 410, (1) CAT 745 rock truck and (1) water truck to backfill the Forced Main Trench <br />where the line ties into the existing leachate line. (2) laborers used jackhammer to excavate holes for bollards. <br />Equipment Onsite: (1) CAT D6T LGP dozer, (2) water trucks, (1) Hitachi 300 excavator, (1) JD 410 Backhoe. (1) CAT 623 <br />paddlewheel scraper. (1) Hyundai 480LC excavator, (1) CAT D6T dozer, (2) Cat 745 Dump Truck, (1) Cat 950 M Loader, (1) <br />CAT D4 Dozer, (1) CAT 14MH Motor Grader, (1) CAT CP54 compactor.
