GeoSyntec Consultants <br />• Each party's responsibilities will be reviewed and discussed, with <br />communication lines identified. <br />• Key personnel will be identified. <br />• The project schedule will be reviewed. <br />• Protocol for field observations and field tests will be explained. <br />• Protocol for handling construction deficiencies, repair work, and re -testing will <br />be discussed. <br />• Protocol for document reporting, handling, distribution, and storage during <br />construction will be discussed. <br />• Procedures to protect construction materials from adverse effects of weather <br />during construction and storage will be discussed. <br />• Work area and safety protocols will be presented by the Contractor. <br />• A site inspection will be conducted to discuss work areas, work plans, <br />stockpiling, and lay -down areas, and other site or construction issues. <br />4.2 Progress Meetings <br />Progress meetings will be held at least weekly to review activities or progress, <br />discuss present and future work, and discuss any current or potential construction <br />problems. The meeting will be attended, at a minimum, by the CQA Team and <br />Contractor. The CQA Team will prepare meeting minutes and record the action items <br />of these meetings in their daily construction inspection diary. <br />4.3 Problem or Work Deficiency Meetings <br />When a problem or deficiency occurs or is likely to occur, special meetings will be <br />held to deal with the problem instead of waiting for the progress meeting. These <br />meetings will be attended by the CQA Team and the Contractor and, if necessary, the <br />J:WLLIED\FORWARD\CLOSURE\REPORT\CQA REPORT 4-2 99.11.30 <br />
