Guinn started cutting the cell floor subgrade material next to the liner tie in area. Guinn has the D6R and grader ripping the cell floor. Guinn is utilizing 1-623 and 2-633 paddle wheels to haul the material to a stockpile to the northwest of the cell. Allied—Allied is placing and compacting subgrade material on the eastern slope of the Ashpit. Allied is utilizing the D8 to spread and track walk the material and the smooth drum roller to compact. CQA tested the subgrade material with all tests meeting the required specifications. Tuesday May 18, 1999 Guinn—Guinn continues to excavate the material from the floor of Cell WMU D-99. Guinn continues to place material suitable for the clay mix in the stockpile. Guinn " " 1-623/2633 paddle wheel scrapers to excavate the material from the cell and stockpile. Guinn has the D6R and the grader ripping the subgrade material.The water truck continues to perform dust control and is moisturizing the stockpile as material is being placed. Allied—Allied continues to work on subgrade preparation on the eastern slope. Allied is utilizing an excavator to load 2 rock trucks to haul material from WMU B to the eastern slope above the third bench. The material is being placed and track walked by a D4 and aD8 in approximately 8"loose lifts. Wednesday May 19, 1999 Guinn—Guinn started the Ione clay import haul today,With approximately 1,800 tons being delivered today. Guinn continues to excavate the material from Cell WMU D-99. Guinn is sorting the material suitable for the clay mix in one stockpile and the material from the road area in a separate stockpile. Guinn worked on the southern slope of the cell. Guinn utilized. 1-623/2633 paddle wheel scrapers to excavate the material from the cell and stockpile. Guinn has the D6R ripping the subgrade material. Guinn has the grader cutting the 2:1 slope.The water truck continues to perform dust control and is moisturizing the stockpile as material is being placed.
