NOTES(Describe work compkited during the day,any problems and their solutions): Monday July 26, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continues to spread the GDM on the southern and eastern edge of the cell floor. Guinn backfilled and compacted a portion of the anchor trench on the western edge of the Ashpit. Guinn placed 400' of perforated 3"pipe and the coarse gravel material in the subdrain on the south slope of the Ashpit. Guinn utilized wheel barrows to place the gravel in the subdrain. Tuesday July 27, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continues to spread the GDM with the D4M on the southern edge of the cell floor. Guinn placed geotextile over the portions of approved GDM on the eastern edge of the cell floor. Guinn then placed operations layer material on the eastern edge of the cell floor. Guinn ran out of geotextile material today.ile. Guinn completed placement of the 3"pipe by placing 40' of solid pipe on the southwestern edge of the Ashpit geomembrane down to the V channel. Guinn started placement of the vegetative cover on the south slope of the Ashpit. Guinn placed material from the.earthfill stockpile on the access road and material from the leachate impoundment on the slope. Wednesday July 28, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continues to import and spread the GDM with the D4M on the eastern and southern edge of the cell floor. Guinn continued to place vegetative cover material on the south slope of the Ashpit. Guinn placed material from the earthfill stockpile. The material from the leachate impoundment was found to be unsuitable for fill due to wooded debris in it. Guinn excavated the top 2' of the leachate impoundment and the material cleaned up. Guinn then placed the impoundment material for vegetative cover material. Guinn placed vegetative cover over the plywood on the southwest Ashpit anchor trench prior to placing the protective geotextile under the plywood. Allied had some rolls of geotextile in a storage locker that Guinn utilized for the protective layer at the anchor trenches. Thursday July 29, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continues to spread the vegetative cover material on the south slope of the Ashpit. Guinn started to place the bench material starting from the western edge of the 1'bench to the south of cell WMU D-99. Guinn continues to utilize the material from the earthfill stockpile as vegetative and bench material.
