NOTES(Describe work completed during the day,any problems and their solutions): Monday August 2, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continued to haul and spread material from the clean stockpile for vegetative cover material on the south slope of the Ashpit. Guinn completed the south slope up to the berm at the hinge point. Guinn continued to excavate the material from the leachate impoundment pond area. Allied directed Guinn to place the wooded material over the clay mixing pad. Guinn brought 2 rolls of geotextile to be placed as the protective sheets under the plywood. Tuesday August 3, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continued to excavate and stockpile the wooded debris from the leachate impoundment pond area. Guinn is stockpiling the material over the clay-mixing pad. Guinn is utilizing 1-623, 1-633 scrapers, D4,D5 Cat dozers and the 140G grader to excavate and grade the pond area. The water truck continues to moisture condition the haul roads and all work areas. Guinn placed geotextile under the plywood and cover it with general earthfill on the eastern slope termination berm on top of cell WMU D-88. Wednesday August 4, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continued to excavate and stockpile the wooded debris from the leachate impoundment pond area. Guinn is stockpiling the material over the clay-mixing pad.Guinn utilized the excavator to remove a 62' section that contained several roots out of the western slope of the leachate impoundment. Guinn is utilizing 2-633 scrapers,D5 Cat dozer and the 140G grader to excavate and grade the pond area. The water truck continues to moisture condition the haul roads and all work areas. Guinn continued to place and compact general earthfill on the eastern slope termination berm. Guinn excavated the,materal placed over the southwestern Ashpit anchor trench plywood.. Guinn pulled the plywood up and placed geotextile material under it as per the plaits and replaced the vegetative cover material. Thursday August 5, 1999 Guinn: Guinn continued to excavate and stockpile the wooded debris from the leachate impoundment pond area. Guinn is stockpiling the material over the clay-mixing pad. Guinn is utilizing the 623, D5 Cat dozer and the 140G grader to excavate and grade the pond area. Guinn replace the material excavated from the western slope of the leachate pond with clean fill material. Guinn utilized the sheepfoot roller to compactor the material to 90%. Guinn completed the deployment of geotextile and placed protective cover on the cell floor. The water truck continues to moisture condition the haul roads and all work areas.
