Guinn completed placement of the 12"riser pipe in the leachate impoundment sump wrapped by a <br /> burrito of 8oz geotextile and coarse gravel. <br /> GSE performed repairs and vacuum testing so Guinn could place the geotextile,pipe,and coarse gravel <br /> material in the sump area. GSE placed 37 panels of GCL totaling approximately 12,944ft2. <br /> Friday August 20, 1999 <br /> Guinn: Guinn continued to place the first lift of eardTill in the anchor trench around the Leachate <br /> impoundment pond in areas approved by CQA. Guinn utilized the excavator to complete the anchor trench <br /> around the leachate impoundment pond. Guinn compacted below the southern roadway with the excavator. <br /> Guinn grader hit the geomembrane while cutting the 2%grade on the l't bench above cell WMU D-99. All <br /> materials were damaged and will need to be repaired. <br /> GSE completed deployment of the secondary liner system in the leachate impoundment pond GSE deployed <br /> a total of 16 panels of 60 mil smooth geomembrane totaling approximately 15,155ft2.
