5. Field observations, problems, conflicts, and changes: <br /> A. Along the ditch on the South side of the anchor trench, the seams were <br /> shingled up-slope instead of down-slope. In the trench area, GSE will trim <br /> the overlap off so that water can flow freely. <br /> B. GSE is fusion welding the geotextile component of the geocomposite <br /> because their sewing machines broke down. <br /> C. Moisture conditioning and reworking of some of the subgrade will be required <br /> due to desiccation. <br /> D. The LCRS gravel was delivered to the site with excess fines. That material <br /> was stockpiled separately and tested by Vector. It failed and Guinn is <br /> attempting to wash it. <br /> 6. Problems which impede the construction schedule and corrective measures: <br /> A. For the well abandonment, Vector needs to schedule a drill rig and set up the <br /> well abandonment. <br /> B. Butch will coordinate with Environmental Health. <br /> C. Guinn can begin excavation in the impoundment. <br /> 7. Review submittal sc ls: <br /> A. Guinn will update their construction schedule. <br /> 8. Review of off-site manufacturing and delivery schedules: <br /> A. The LCRS tank should be delivered by Friday at the latest. <br /> B. The extra roll of smooth HDPE should be delivered within a week. <br /> C. Guinn will be submitting on the piping for the impoundment. <br /> 9. Access issues: <br /> A. Butch will check on the status of the perimeter access road. Duane will check <br /> with Jeff and have him call Butch. <br /> 10. Health and safety issues: <br /> A. GSE shuts down the liner installation of the temperature gets too hot. <br /> 11. Other items: <br /> A. Guinn and Vector are reviewing the monthly pay estimate and will send it to <br /> Scott for review.
