NOTES(Describe work completed during the day,any problems and their solutions): Guinn Crew: 9 total Dewalt Crew: 2 total Griffin Crew 4 total Allied Crew: 2 total Guinn Construction has Griffin on site to start mixing the clay material. Griffin soils stabilization started the clay mix today utilizing 2 mixers and 2 water trucks. Grim made 1 pass with a water truck hooked up to the I'mixer for moisture conditioning of the material as it is being processed. A 2nd pass by the 2nd mixer with out water for remix. Guinn utilized 2—633 to place the on site material .75' then the 623 placed the.25' of clay material. 4 lifts were mixed totaling approximately 4'at 110'-150 X 250'-300'. Guinn is excavating the access ramp and the cell floor at the eastern toe. Guinn has the D6R ripping the subgrade material. The grader is cutting the south 2:1 slope and grading on the stockpile. Guinn utilized 2-633/1-623 paddle wheels to excavate and haul the material that is suitable for the clay admixture to the appropriate stockpile. Dewalt is on site resetting cut stakes in the southeastern comer of the cell and checking the liner tie in elevations for the cell flow and elevation. Dewalt set laser points on the cell floor to control the 2%grade. Allied Waste continued to place garbage on the southeast edge of the eastern slope with daily cover material. Allied continued to construct the anchor trench area on the slopes southern edge of cell WMU D-99. Vector Engineering, Inc. Observed excavation and stockpiling materials for clay mixture. Pulled a sample and shipped it to Vector Engineering,Inc. for barge Scale Direct Shear testing. CQA pulled a sample for a compaction curve. CQA pulled several moisture samples on the clay mix.
