Guinn is utilizing the D411 <br /> and the D5M Cat Dozers to spread the material onto the geomembrane 1' minimum thickness. Guinn has a <br /> laborer watching for wrinkles in the geomembrane. Guinn's import material was found to have a major <br /> amount of fines. CQA pulled a sample for sieve analysis testing. Guinn was informed that the material <br /> looked questionable as far as meeting the requirements for the project and if the material was placed that it <br /> was at Guinns own risk until the sieve was completed for verification. Guinn will stockpile the material to <br /> the north of cell floor until the sieve was to be completed. <br /> GSE deployed GCL and geomembrane on the top of the Asit. GSE deployed a total of 36 panels of GCL <br /> with approximately 15,788.5fe. GSE deployed a total of 5 panels of HDT geomembrane with approximately <br /> 17,2591. GSE had 3 technicians wedge welding the geocomposite on the eastern slope. GSE shut down <br /> operations when the temperature rose above the specified limits for panel deployment. GSE deployed <br /> geocomposite until the heat was unbearable. GSE placed 6 panels of composite with approximately 6,183ft2 <br /> on the eastern slope. <br /> Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed placement and grading of GDM. CQA observed GCL and <br /> geomembrane deployment,repairs, seaming,overlap and air testing made to the geomembrane. Observed <br /> vacuum testing of repairs made. CQA pulled 1 destructive sample with passing results.
