C <br />2. Check in at the DSA. Do not leave the DSA. Do not go back <br />into the buildings. Stay in the DSA until you are released <br />to leave the DSA or return to work. <br />3. Do not leave the DSA until you have notified the Foreman so <br />that subsequent search and rescue operation can <br />constructively focus on persons who are actually missing. <br />4. In the event of a major earthquake, you may be safer at <br />work. Every attempt will be made to contact the area <br />authorities to assess when it is safe to leave. You may <br />cause more of a hazard to yourself trying to get home as <br />there may be no electricity, roads and bridges may be <br />blocked or damaged, and electrical wires may be on the <br />roads. <br />Reminders: <br />A. Avoid using the telephones as the telephones will be needed <br />for emergency personnel. <br />B. Turn off equipment and shut doors as you leave your work <br />area if time allows. <br />C. Do not leave the DSA until you have been counted and given <br />permission to leave. <br />D. Do not enter a building until it has been declared safe to <br />enter. <br />3.8 Inspection For Earthquake Damage <br />The areas and systems- at the -Site most „susceptible to earthquake <br />damage should be inspected prior to reoccupancy or usage <br />following -an earthquake_. The vulnerable areas and systems <br />include: <br />1. Hazardous materials storage containers; and <br />2.
