6.2.9 STRUCTURE REMOVAUDECOMMISSIONING OF ENVIRONMENTAL <br />0 CONTROL SYSTEMS <br />No costs are associated with this category since no structure removal or <br />decommissioning of environmental systems is required for closure of Stage <br />IA. <br />6.2.10 ENGINEERING DESIGN <br />This category includes costs for the preparation of construction level <br />engineering design plans and specifications for bid purposes. This cost is <br />assumed to be two percent of the construction cost. <br />6.2.11 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT <br />The construction management cost for the Stage IA closure is based on the <br />closure construction period. This cost is assumed to be 4 percent of the <br />construction cost. <br />0 6.2.12 CONTINGENCY <br />n <br />A 20 percent contingency factor has been added to the construction cost <br />estimate. <br />In accordance with 27 CCR, Section 21800, the operator is required to <br />provide a detailed schedule for disbursement of funds for closure for advance <br />payment of closure construction activities to be performed in accordance with <br />the Plan or reimbursement of costs to be performed in accordance with the <br />Plan. Table 7 shows the anticipated disbursement of funds necessary to <br />complete construction for Stage IA partial closure area of the Forward <br />Landfill.
