5.4.4.2 CONSTRUCTION <br /> The construction inspection activities of the CQA team will generally include: <br /> • Review of contractor's submittals, samples, and supporting test reports. <br /> • Review of the contractor's work schedules. <br /> • Verification that liner materials are as specified in the plans and specifications <br /> or as approved by the engineer. <br /> • Observation of all phases of the liner construction and documentation of the <br /> contractor's compliance or noncompliance with the approved plans and <br /> specifications, and/or the directions of the engineer. Field tests and visual <br /> observations will be used to evaluate construction practices. <br /> • Accommodate seasonal conditions, if warranted. <br /> Testing Program <br /> A field testing program will be implemented during construction to evaluate <br /> whether all components are constructed according to the design specifications. <br /> All field tests will be conducted by CQA personnel or qualified laboratories <br /> under the supervision of the CQA personnel. <br /> Daily Recordkeeping and Reporting <br /> A summary report will be prepared daily by each technician with supporting <br /> inspection data sheets and records of any problems that occur or corrective <br /> measures that are implemented throughout the construction period.
