WMU FU-05 November 2006
Forward Landfill Project No.021605.07
• geonet core thickness (ASTM D-1777);
• peel strength (ASTM D-4632); and
• index transmissivity (ASTM D-4716).
A total of five (5) geocomposite samples were tested for conformance. Based on
411,510 ftz of geocomposite received, this testing frequency corresponds to one test
per 82,300 ft2 which satisfies the requirement of one test per 100,000 ftz. Results of
the conformance testing indicated that the materials met the requirements of the
project specifications. A summary of the conformance test results is included in
Table 10. Detailed test results are included in Appendix L.
TABLE
GEOCOMPOSITE CONFORMANCE TESTING SUMMARY
A7N1 D'46d '' 15TM
d 5993: A$TM;D 5$87''
Rink MIP"'P45
GON ,",T PE4STRENGTH INDEX TRANSMISSIVE 1 Y
NO CtJRE (LBS/FT2) t
M2LSEC)
r s) PIF
SPECS 236(min.) 1.0 @ 12% M.C. >2 x 10"9 (max.) --
110173754 262 2.7 3.1 x 10.3 P
110174047 261 5.7 4.7 x 10-3 P
131219815 261 5.4 4.9 x 10.3 P
131220354 260 5.2 4.9 x 10-3 P
131220384 261 6.9 4.8 x 10.3 P
5.5.4 Deployment
The panel deployment procedure was observed and documented by Vector's CQA
Monitor. The CQA Monitor observed that the conditions of the CQA manual were
met during deployment. Vector's CQA Monitor continuously observed deployment
activities to ensure no damage occurred to the underlying components.
Vector Engineering, Inc. • 143E Spring Hill Drive•Grass Valley,CA 95945•(530)272-2448
-35-
