WMU FU-05 November 2006 <br /> Forward Landfill Project No.021605.07 <br /> ® 6.0 POLYETHYLENE PIPE AND FITTINGS <br /> 6.1 Receiving Inspection <br /> Upon arrival by truck shipment, Vector's CA Monitor performed the receiving <br /> inspection of the HDPE piping, which consisted of: <br /> • verifying that the pipe is the proper size and dimensions with the <br /> specified perforations; <br /> ® visually inspecting the pipe for any damage that may have occurred <br /> during transportation and handling; <br /> • verifying and documenting that storage of the pipe was in accordance <br /> with the project specifications; and <br /> • verifying documentation required by the specifications was received. <br /> Documentation for the HDPE pipe is included in Appendix M. <br /> 6.2 Installation <br /> ® Vector's CQA Monitor observed that the pipe was installed at the locations specified <br /> in the construction drawings, and no damage occurred during the placement and <br /> backfill around and over the pipe.
