The manufacturer's QC data have also been <br /> included in Appendix C. <br /> 4.2.2 Conformance Testing <br /> Select samples of the HDPE were cut from random rolls of the geomembrane at the <br /> manufacturing plant by the third party testing laboratory for conformance testing <br /> in accordance with the project specifications and CQA manual. Conformance testing <br /> included: <br /> • density (ASTM D-1505) <br /> • carbon black content (ASTM D-1603) <br /> • carbon black dispersion (ASTM D-5596) <br /> • thickness (ASTM D-5994) <br /> • tensile properties (ASTM D-638) <br /> • asperity height (GRI GM-12) <br /> Results of the conformance testing indicated that the materials met the <br /> requirements of the project specifications and are included in Appendix C. <br /> 4.2.3 Geomembrane Installation <br /> 4.2.3.1 Geomembrane Deployment <br /> • Surface Preparation <br /> Prior to installation of the HDPE, Vector's CQA Monitor inspected that the <br /> subgrade was prepared as specified by the project specifications and there was no <br /> change in surface condition that required repair work. <br /> • Field Panel Identification <br /> Prior to geomembrane deployment, Vector's CQA Monitor and GSE discussed and <br /> agreed to the identification code for each panel deployed.
