Collected samples will be accompanied by a chain-of-custody record. ,Each sample will have its own unique sample identification number, sample location, date and time of collection, and appropriate preservative clearly labeled with a ent marker along'with-a sample custody_ seat affixed around the sample bottle cap. The unique sample identification number consists of a unique five-digit number_ The information described above including the unique sample identification number, along with the analyses to be performed, will be included on the Purge Chamterization and'Sample Log. Samples will remain in the custody of the field technician at all times during the sampling activities. Samples will be stored,with thechain of custody, in.the iced coolers,.and paicked in foam bottle fomes or other material to po ' breakage. At the end of the day the technician will drive to the office where the samples will be placed _under chain-of-custody control in the sample control refrigerator.
