Stirrat & Associates (BAS) is under contract with Allied Waste Industries (Allied) <br /> to provide landfill gas design and permitting services at Forward Landfill. For 2008, BAS <br /> has proposed the installation of six (6) additional vertical gas extraction wells in Forward <br /> Waste Management Unit 6 (FU-06): These,;plans were previously submitted to you for <br /> your review. In response to your request(th"r6ugh Lochlin Caffey), BAS is pleased to <br /> assist with this following information: <br /> 1. Provide header pipe size and blower size. <br /> A 4-inch well lateral will be connected from each well to an existing 18-inch perimeter <br /> gas collection header. This header has been over-sized to accommodate future gas <br /> flows from the site. <br /> i <br /> Three blowers are currently installed at the flare station (B-103/104/105). Each blower is <br /> designed to handle approximately 2,000 SCFM of landfill gas. 6-703/104 are Hoffman <br /> Model 741 series blowers(see attached blower information) B-105, HSI Series 8603, <br /> was installed in 2007 and has similar capabilities as B-103/104(see attached blower <br /> information). <br /> 1360 Valley Vista Drive *.Diamond Bar.
