WMU FU-08 October 2008
Forward Landfill Project No.021605.08
A total of nine (9) geotextile samples were tested for conformance. The twenty-four
samples consist of five (5) for the filter geotextile and four (4) for the cushion
geotextile. Based on 801,900 ft2 of geotextile received, this testing frequency
corresponds to one test per 89,100 ft2 which satisfies the requirement of one test per
100,000 ft2. Results of the conformance testing indicated that the materials met the
requirements of the project specifications. A summary of the conformance test
results is included in Table 10. Detailed test results are included in Appendix K.
TABLE 1
GEOTEXTILE CONFORMANCETESTING SUMMARY
TEST RESULTS
ASTM D 5993 ASTM D 4632
SAMPLE NO. Our CQA Monitor observed that the conditions of the CQA manual were
met during deployment. Vector's CQA monitor observed that proper seam overlap,
seaming, tie-ins, and other manufacturer's written guidelines were followed.
Vector Engineering, Inc. • 143E Spring Hill Drive•Grass Valley, CA 95945•(530)272-2448
-32-
