Recycling Implementation Costs: <br />The Recycling Component identified recycling <br />programs that will be implemented by the County to <br />achieve a portion of its waste diversion goals. The <br />recycling program will include a public education program <br />and a market development program conducted by County <br />staff, public drop-off and salvage areas at County <br />disposal sites and transfer stations, increased recycling <br />efforts at the North County Recycling Center and Sanitary <br />Landfill and the Lovelace Transfer Station, a MRF in the <br />South County Area, and a curbside recycling program for <br />the County's more populated areas. <br />The North County Recycling Center and Sanitary <br />Landfill includes an enclosed public drop-off facility <br />where loads are dumped and transferred to the working <br />Chapter 9 - Funding 3 <br />
