These plans will specify
source reduction, recycling, and other waste
diversionary practices that will be employed by the
business. The plans will also require evaluation and
specify the types of information which the business
must furnish to the county concerning its waste
diversion programs.
The business ordinance was selected to bring
waste reduction issues to the attention of businesses
in the planning stages so that source reduction
strategies can be integrated into the design of the
business.
