Power Supply - Power supply to all control equipment shall be <br />120 volts, 60 Hz, single phase or 24V DC. <br />6. Couplings - Couplings 1 inch and smaller shall have a minimum <br />rating of 6,000 lbs and greater than 1 inch 3,000 lbs. Nipples shall <br />be a minimum of Schedule 40. <br />7. Permanent Ladder - An access ladder shall be installed to provide <br />safe and easy access to the thermocouples, view ports and one <br />sample port. The ladder side rails shall extend to within 2 foot of <br />the top of the flare. The top ladder step shall stop 10 foot below <br />the top of the flare housing, but the side rails shall be designed so <br />they help facilitate ladder climbing. Anti fall protection shall be <br />provided. Clips shall be added to the ladder to facilitate fastening a <br />safety harness at thermocouple locations to help facilitate <br />maintenance. <br />8. Conduit Attachment - The Contractor shall weld conduit clips to <br />the flare housing to ensure that all conduits are securely anchored <br />to the flare assembly. <br />9.
