Structural shapes shall be A36. <br />B. Structural pipe shall be A120, A53 or A106. <br />C. Bolts shall be min. A325. <br />1911,14 c3 � Jl�1 USI <br />3.01 FABRICATION <br />A. Skids shall be heavy-duty structural steel sub -base, designed and fabricated <br />to support and withstand the weight of and pressure from all equipment <br />attached to and supported by it, including seismic loads, wind loads, lifting <br />loads, transportation and installation. <br />B. When reciprocating or vibrating equipment (compressor, blower) is <br />mounted on the skid, vibration isolators of the type and quantity <br />recommended by the manufacturer shall be provided. Mounting holes for <br />the isolator shall be located in the sub -base by the manufacturer to insure <br />equal distribution of weight. <br />C. Bolt holes shall be provided for securing the skid to the foundation. <br />D. Leveling screws shall be provided by the Contractor. Leveling screws shall <br />be at least 3 inches long. Allowable deflection between leveling screws <br />shall not exceed 1/1000 of the span between screws.
