1 - B. The filter shall be capable of removing particulate five microns and larger. <br />2.07 BOLTS <br />A. Bolts, nuts, and washers in contact with LFG, condensate, soil or within the sump <br />shall be type 304 stainless steel. <br />2.08 BACKFILL <br />A. The backfill shall consist of pea gravel below the sump and sand up and around <br />the 2 -inch HDPE pipe saddle, and soil to the surface. Soil shall be compacted by <br />removing the vault compacting to top of sump, installing the vault, and backfilling <br />around the vault. <br />B. Soil backfill shall meet the engineering requirements for the site and shall be <br />approved by the engineer. The material placed adjacent to the condensate sump <br />shall be fine graded and no objects shall be present that could cause damage to the <br />sump. <br />2.09 PIPE WRAP TAPE <br />A. Pipe wrap tape shall be 20 mil HDPE or PVC self adhesive tape. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />A. Work shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's written procedures <br />and installation detail drawings. <br />3.01. GRADING AND DRAINAGE <br />A. The area around the condensate liquid pump system shall be free draining away <br />from the equipment. <br />3.02 CONNECTIONS <br />A. Prior to making connections including LFG, air, condensate discharge and <br />equalizing, Contractor shall purge all lines of debris and thoroughly clean them in <br />the presence of the Engineer. Pipe shall be connected using good engineering <br />practice. <br />B. A type 304 stainless steel union shall be installed outside the vault for the <br />compressed air pressure equalizing and liquid pipes. Metal fitting and metal pipe <br />in contact with soil shall be double wrapped with 20 mil pipe wrap tape.
