J <br />J <br />7 <br />F� <br />C. The pressure equalizing line between the condensate sump and the top of the LFG <br />header shall be as shown on the Contract Plans. The equalizing line shall be free <br />draining to either the landfill gas collection pipe or the sump and shall be free of <br />kinks or other obstructions to liquid or gas flow. <br />3.03 TESTING AND ACCEPTANCE <br />A. Prior to acceptance, the following verifications shall be made by Contractor in <br />presence of Engineer: <br />1. Verify unit has been installed per the manufacturer's written instructions. <br />2. Verify all connections have been pressure tested per the manufacturer's <br />recommendations. <br />3. Verify the pipes and connections are clean and free of debris. <br />4. Set and verify the regulator settings. <br />5. Contractor shall provide water to the condensate sump, and shall operate <br />the sump for at least 2 hours without incident. <br />6. Verify all materials of construction. <br />PART 4 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />A. Condensate Sump: Measurement for payment for installation of the condensate <br />sump assemblies shall be measured in terms of units installed. <br />4.02 PAYMENT <br />A. Payment for the Condensate Sump shall be based on the unit price for each <br />Condensate Sump installed as identified in the proposal. Payment shall include <br />the sump assembly, startup and testing, pipes, fittings, hoses, submersible pump, <br />valves, traffic rated box and cover, all necessary hookups and connections, <br />excavation, backfill, compaction, and safety measures as shown on the drawings <br />and specified herein. Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, <br />tools, equipment, overhead, and other work and incidentals necessary to complete <br />the work of this Section. Unless authorized by the Owners, the quantity paid shall <br />not exceed the amount shown on the Proposal for Condensate Sumps. <br />END OF SECTION <br />North County LFG Collection System 4 CONDENSATE SUMP <br />San Joaquin County Public Works Section 13910 <br />
