1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />SECTION 15055 <br />PIPING <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals for the <br />installation and testing of all well field piping and flare station piping. <br />B. Pipe supports and anchors have been indicated on the drawings in some locations. <br />C. The Bid Items for this section include: <br />a. 12 -Inch HDPE Pipe <br />b. 6 -Inch HDPE Pipe <br />C. 3 -Inch HDPE Pipe <br />d. 1- Inch HDPE Pipe <br />D. Pipe for the Vertical Landfill Gas Extraction Wells will be paid for under the LFG <br />Extraction Well Bid Item. <br />E. Pipe in the flare station will be paid for under the Flare Station Construction Bid <br />Item. <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS <br />A. The Contractor shall submit documents for any material and the delivery schedule <br />in accordance with Section 01300. <br />B. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer record drawings indicating the actual <br />location of all piping, valves, vaults, etc. <br />C. Submit HDPE pipe welder certification. <br />1.03 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. The Contractor shall be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of all <br />materials to the work site. The Contractor shall submit a delivery schedule for all <br />pipe and fittings scheduled deliveries. <br />B. The Contractor shall exercise care in handling, placing the pipes, loading and <br />unloading of all materials to avoid shock and surface abrasions.
