B. Carbon steel valves 11/2 inch and smaller shall be 3000 lb. rated with a 316 <br />SS ball and trim and Teflon seat. Valves shall be Apollo Series X-100 or <br />approved equal. <br />C. Carbon steel valves 2 inch and larger shall be 150 lb. raised face flanged <br />with a 316 SS ball and trim and Teflon seats. Valves shall be Apollo <br />Series 8100 or approved equal. <br />2.03 GATE VALVES <br />A. Gate valves for gas wells adjustment shall be 2 -inch or 3 -inch unless <br />otherwise indicated on the Drawings. <br />B. Gate valves shall be PVC with a SS stem with socket weld ends. Valve <br />trim shall be Buna-N. <br />C. Gate valves shall be rated to 200 psi at 73 OF. <br />D. Approved manufacturers for above ground installation are Hayward, Asahi <br />or approved equal. Below ground installation is Asahi or approved equal. <br />E. Flanges of flanged gate valves shall be integral with the valve body. <br />2.04 SAMPLE VALVES <br />A. Sample. valves or gauge valves shall be stainless steel ball valves or AGCO <br />model Hl or Model H5 stainless steel needle valves with Teflon seat and <br />Viton Packing. A stainless steel hose barb suitable for 1/4 - 3/8 ID hose <br />shall be installed in the outlet end of the valve for sampling. <br />2.05 GAUGE VALVES <br />A. Gauge valves shall be stainless steel ball valves or AGCO Model M5A, <br />stainless steel needle valves with Teflon seat and packing and shall include <br />an ACCO Model V6 bleeder valve with Teflon seat and packing. <br />A. Bolting for above ground valves not exposed to LFG or soil shall be CAD <br />or zinc plated A325. <br />B.
