The Contractor shall apply curing compound in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations in Section 2.03 after finishing the concrete. 3.04 FINISHING A. The Contractor shall remove fins and other surface projections from all formed surfaces except for surfaces in contact with earth backfill and shall fill with mortar all surface voids and recesses resulting from removal of form ties. The Contractor shallP rovide a "medium broom finish" in the natural direction of drainage. 3.05 TESTS, INSPECTION A. The Engineer shall inspect forming and reinforcements prior to placement of concrete. B. The County shall arrange and pay for concrete testing. Three test cylinders shall be molded from each concrete batch. The cylinders shall be tested at no more than 28 days after molding. The tested strength of any cylinder shall not be less than the specified strength. C. Concrete that does not meet specifications shall be replaced at the Contractor's expense.
