Contractor shall flag and protect existing facilities, including, but not limited to: <br />Soil gas monitoring wells <br />Groundwater monitoring wells <br />Existing Bollards <br />Contractor shall access the landfills through the main access gates. <br />Access to some drilling locations will require the contractor to remove a section of barbed wire <br />fence. All fence removed shall be re -constructed after well installation. <br />Contractor shall stage materials and park at locations shown on the Plans, or at other areas <br />authorized by the Engineer. <br />B. Smoking Privileges <br />Smoking will be allowed only in Contractor's vehicles when located in an area not subject to fire. <br />Smoking materials will be contained within the vehicles. Throwing burning materials, such as <br />cigarettes, from the vehicles will result in revoking smoking privileges for all Contractor <br />employees. <br />C. Water <br />Water may be obtained from the water tank shown on the Plans. Contractor shall give landfill <br />operation vehicles priority in water use. <br />D. Trash <br />Contractor shall daily collect meal trash and other litter generated by the Contractor and dispose <br />on site with all site gate fees. <br />E. Conversation with Contractor's Staff <br />The Engineer may question workers as desired. Such questions are not to be considered <br />directives by the Engineer to the worker. <br />F. Contact Documents On Site <br />Contractor shall verify overhead power line clearances for drill rigs access near well drilling <br />locations at both sites. <br />The Contractor shall maintain a complete set of contract documents on site. Contract documents <br />include the Contract, Addenda, Plans and Specifications. <br />Subcontractor crews shall be in possession of contract documents relevant to their work, and <br />shall produce such documents when requested by the Engineer. Failure of the subcontractor <br />crews to produce contract documents will be justification for the Engineer to direct the cessation <br />of work by the Contractor's crew at the Engineer's discretion. The cost for such cessation shall <br />be born by the Contractor.
