2_3 CONTROL MEASURES TO REDUCE POLLUTANTS IN STORM WATER DISCHARGE <br />2.3.1 STRUCTURAL CONTROLS <br />The construction design for current fill area at North County Recycling <br />Center and Sanitary Landfill is protected by the High Density <br />Polyethylene (HDPE) below ground liner to ensure containment of <br />discharged wastes over the operating life. Storm drainage retention <br />ponds collect runoff from the rest of the activity areas. <br />2.3.2 NON STRUCTURAL CONTROLS <br />The non structural source controls utilized at the North County <br />Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill to protect storm water quality <br />consists of procedures and policies designed to ensure that equipment <br />and personnel operate in a manner that minimizes the sources of <br />potential storm water pollutants. Standard Operations Practices for the <br />North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill are described in the <br />landfill's RDSI. A copy of the Report Disposal Site Information (RDSI) <br />can be obtained from County Solid Waste Division (209) 468- 3066. <br />2.4 INDUSTRIAL STORM WATER DISCHARGE TREATMENT FACILITIES <br />North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill has no storm water <br />discharge treatment facilities. <br />2.5 SAMPLING DATA DESCRIBING POLLUTANTS IN STORM WATER DISCHARGE <br />North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill has no storm water <br />discharge sampling data on site.
