File No. 20-1008-36 <br /> July 14, 1995 <br /> 3.2.1 Project Administrator <br /> The Project Administrator has overall responsibility for the project. The Project Administrator <br /> will be Tom Horton, Integrated Waste Manager for the SJDPW, Solid Waste Division. As such, <br /> he will be consulted by involved parties on all matters of principle and policy, and he will approve <br /> any design modifications or regulatory conferences for the project. <br /> 3.2.2 Project Manager <br /> The Project Manager is responsible for confirming that the intent of the design is met. The <br /> Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of any design changes that are <br /> required as a result of the observation of actual field conditions. Mr. Gabriel Karam, P.E., <br /> SJDPW, will serve as the Project Manager. He will also serve as Project Engineer and Engineer <br /> of Record as defined below. <br /> 3.2.3 Engineer of Record <br /> During the construction and any required redesign, the Engineer of Record will confirm that <br /> construction conforms with the design plans and specifications and that all design changes have <br /> been properly evaluated, documented, and approved by the regulatory authorities. The Engineer <br /> of Record must be a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. Mr. Gabriel Karam, <br /> P.E. will be the Engineer of Record for the project. <br /> 3.2.4 Survey Team <br /> The Survey Team performs all survey work on the site to measure and document the following: <br /> • Configuration of landfill prior to placing cap <br /> • Configuration of upper surface of foundation layer <br /> • Confirms that foundation layer is a minimum of 2-feet thick <br /> GSM.•md CH/95 Page 12 of 31 July 14, 1995 <br /> 20-1008-36(CQACOI) Copyright 1995,Kleinfelder,Inc. <br />
