At the same time, the ODS shall <br /> retain a qualified archaeologist to evaluate the <br /> archaeological implications of the find and <br /> recommend any mitigation measures that may be <br /> required under CEQA; the ODS shall implement <br /> those recommendations. The CEQA Guidelines <br /> detail steps to be taken when human remains are <br /> found to be of Native American origin. <br /> 6. GEOLOGY AND SOILS <br /> Project Impacts on Geology and Soils PS 1. The ODS shall be responsible for complying with LS <br /> mitigation measures stated in Section . 8.0, <br /> Hydrology and Water Quality. <br /> 2. The ODS shall have a licensed geotechnical or soils LS <br /> engineer prepare a soils report for the proposed <br /> building construction prior to the approval of site <br /> plans. The report shall identify engineering <br /> limitations of the site soils, including expansive soils, <br /> and recommend measures to ensure that planned <br /> construction will not be damaged by these <br /> limitations.
