Waste processing activities conducted at the station <br />shall be conducted in an organized manner and shall be controlled <br />to minimize health, safety or nuisance problems. <br />Section 17557 - Station Maintenance Program <br />During my inspection, the Logeman cardboard baler broke down. <br />Although the operator took immediate action of notifying the <br />mechanic to repair the problem, the back-up baler should have <br />been used to prevent the continued accumulation of cardboard. <br />Section 17442 - Station Modification <br />There were no significant changes in the station design or <br />operation. <br />NOTE: The LEA shall be notified of any significant change in the <br />design or operation of the station. <br />Section 17451 - Design Responsibility <br />This standard applies to new facilities only. This is not a new <br />facility. <br />Section 17453 - Public Health Design Parameters <br />This facility commenced operations prior to the implementation of <br />this standard. <br />Section 17461 —Weight Volume Records <br />The weight volume records were kept in the office on site. Based <br />on the records, this facility is receiving on the average of 50 <br />tons per day. All vehicles entering the site are weighed in at <br />the scale to determine weight in pounds and converted into cubic <br />yards. <br />Section 17462 - Special Occurrences <br />A log of special occurrences was maintained and kept 'at the <br />office.
