Copies of approved permits will be forwarded to the EHD, when obtained. <br /> 5. U.S.Army Corps of Engineers <br /> The design requirements and approvals specified by the Corps will be in accordance <br /> with the permit, if required. A copy of the Corps requirements, when obtained by <br /> the County, will be forwarded to the EHD. <br /> 6. Manteca-Lathrop Fire District (MLFD) <br /> The MLFD has stated that a permit will be required from the District prior to <br /> approval of the SWFP. The District has identified several design requirements for <br /> the project that must be addressed prior to District approval. These requirements <br /> as identified in the Draft EIR (April, 1993) are as follows: <br /> 0 All buildings shall be sprinkled in accordance with NFPA Pamphlet 13 <br /> • A pressurized water system with diesel backup shall be provided in accordance <br /> with NFPA 24 and NFPA Pamphlet 20 <br /> • Fire flows shall be in accordance with the Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition, <br /> Appendix 3-A <br /> • Access shall be in accordance with the Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition <br /> (Cunningham; personnel communication). <br /> The proposed location of the pressurized water system with diesel backup is shown <br /> on Drawing RSI-2. The water system is described in other sections of this RSI. <br /> The final design plans, when completed in 1993, will be submitted to M[LFD for <br /> approval. Notification of M[LFD approval will be forwarded to the EHD. <br /> C. OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. LEA and California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) <br /> Title 14, Article 6 contains standards that apply to the operation of solid waste <br /> transfer stations. The standards that apply to the Station are contained in Sections <br /> 17461 to 17564. This RSI was compiled to outline the operational provisions and <br /> procedures to be used to perform Station operations in compliance with these <br /> Sections. <br /> 2. California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) <br /> Operational requirements will be contained in Rs and/or SWPPP if required by <br /> the RWQCB. <br /> 07549001.012 19 September 23,1993 <br />
