• A septic system for sanitary waste water <br /> Scale house <br /> The scale house will be located in the northeast area of the facility as shown <br /> on Drawing RSI-2. It will be constructed on a concrete slab foundation and <br /> include a restroom. The scale house will be the main point of control for <br /> traffic and will include the following equipment: <br /> • Telephone <br /> • Computer linked to scales electronic output <br /> • Cash register <br /> • Battery/generator backup for power (portable/outside of building) <br /> • Heating <br /> • Restroom with toilet <br /> • Air conditioning <br /> • Battery uninterrupted power supply (with surge protection) system for <br /> computer <br /> • Burglar Alarm <br /> (2) Storage Areas <br /> The proposed facility includes paved Recycling Storage (Portland cement <br /> concrete) and a Recycling Drop-off (asphalt concrete) Areas. The Recycling <br /> Storage Area will be directly south of the Transfer Building at an elevation of <br /> approximately eight feet below the Tipping/Sorting Floor of the Transfer <br /> Building. After roll-off bins, which are stationed at the "Z wall",are filled with <br /> recyclable material, they will be moved to the Recycling Storage Area and <br /> staged for pickup and removal. <br /> The Future Recycling Drop-off area will be designed by the County in the <br /> future. At this time, it will be designed and constructed as an open paved <br /> area the same thickness as station roads to withstand truck traffic. It may be <br /> used to set up a salvage area where reusable materials may be exchanged to <br /> site users. A section designated for recyclable household hazardous materials <br /> will be located in the Non-Automated Disposal Area of the Transfer Building. <br /> (3) Parking Areas <br /> Employee/visitor parking (30 stalls; including 2 handicap stalls) will be located <br /> as shown on the site plan directly west of the Office and Maintenance (O&M) <br /> building. The stalls are accessible only through the scale house entry lane. <br /> An additional 20 (including 1 handicap) parking stalls will be available on the <br /> secured parking area south of the O&M building. This area will be secured <br /> with electronic gates. <br /> Overnight parking for transfer trucks (10 stalls) is located as shown on the Site <br /> 07549001.012 22 September 23,1993 <br />
