is the currently proposed recipient of waste transferred from the Station. <br /> (3) Removal of Hazardous Materials <br /> The procedures for removal of hazardous waste or materials are described in Sections <br /> III.C.4. <br /> 5. Station Maintenance <br /> Following is a summary of the maintenance programs discussed for the Station. <br /> Maintenance item Descri tion <br /> Roadway Mechanical Sweeper as needed <br /> Grounds As needed by laborers (primarily AWP) <br /> Buildings Laborer will be assigned to both buildings and grounds and will <br /> also supervise and be assisted by AWP workers as needed <br /> Station workers will pick up site litter on a daily basis. Litter will also be collected <br /> from areas around the Station on an as needed basis. Litter will be contained by the <br /> perimeter fence, picked up by hand and transported to the tipping floor for disposal <br /> by transfer trucks. <br /> Transfer trucks will be steam cleaned in the truck wash daily and recycled material <br /> containers will be cleaned in the truck wash periodically, as needed. <br /> Recyclable material in storage areas will be routinely removed for off-site disposal as <br /> described above. <br /> 6. Health and Safety <br /> a. Employees Sanitary Facilities <br /> Sanitary facilities available on-site will include restrooms, showers, drinking fountains <br /> and eyewashes. Both mens and women's lavatories (both designed to accommodate <br /> handicapped use) and showers will be available in the office portion of the O&M <br /> building as shown on Drawing RSI-5. The scalehouse will be constructed with a <br /> restroom with a toilet and sink. Drinking fountains and eyewashes will be provided <br /> in the Transfer Building. <br /> b. Water Supply <br /> The existing well (beneath the proposed O&M Building parking area) will be <br /> abandoned during the construction project for the new Station. Prior to <br /> abandonment, a new well will be constructed near the fire protection water storage <br /> tank, as shown on Drawing RSI-5 and SI-2. The phasing of construction of the new <br /> Station will be such that the existing well will be abandoned and replaced with a new <br /> 07549001.012 38 September 23,1993 <br />
